INDUSTRY ACTIVITIES

Industry is invited to support IES2011 at a number of levels. First and foremost we are interested in the participation of those industries and organizations that make use of the scientific and technical products covered by the IES conferences. We certainly wish to encourage the interchange of information between scientists, promoters of science, and users of science. Users include system planners, system architects, and operational arms of the civilian and military C4I communities. The basic and exploratory research constituencies within academia, industry and government need the the driving force of relevance for motivation. At the same time, the applications community needs to be aware of new trends and opportunities emerging from the scientific community. IES has long promoted this integration of ideas, talent, and applications products. Naturally our specialty is ionospheric influence upon systems that are important to our security and the well being of society in general. We need industry support to do this effectively.Secondly, we invite industry to participate financially. Opportunities exist for sponsorship of the IES2011 Poster Session, The IES2011 Awards Luncheon, and for Coffee Breaks. Industry may also reserve space for display of certain products and services.
