UNIVERSITY REDUCED REGISTRATION PROGRAM

IES2011 University Reduced Registration Program (IES-URRP)
In order to promote the participation in IES2011 by advanced undergraduates and graduate students majoring in ionospheric, space-weather, or related disciplines, the organizing committee has established the University Reduced Registration Program (IES-URRP). To qualify for the program a designated university must register at least one official (i.e., department head, professor, etc.) for attendance in IES2011 ($500 Standard or $450 for Early Bird). He will serve as the University Sponsor of up to four (4) students who may register at a reduced rate of $50.00 each. The ordinary rate for students is ~$250.00 (or $200.00 for Early Bird). Hence there is a additional savings of up to $200 over the normal student rate.
Each student can attend all activities (i.e., technical sessions, workshops, and poster sessions) associated with IES2011 and will be entitled to a copy of the IES2011 pre-print document. Each student may purchase a copy of the final Proceedings (hardbound and/or DVD) and the Awards Luncheon.
It goes without saying that students are encouraged to submit papers (as lead authors or co-authors) or Posters for consideration. It is anticipated that sponsors will encourage the submission of posters as a minimum.
